In the annuls of great Canadian rap K-OS has to be considered one of the best (Come to think of it…I can’t think of any other Canadian rappers right now. Maybe Th’ Corn Gangg , but I’m not sure if that counts).
With the release of his new album appropriately named Yes!, K-OS has once again blended great hip-hop with rock and funk to create an all together fun listening experience. This is best experienced on the song titled “I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman” where he resurrects Phantom Planet’s consistently desimated ‘California’ to create a great mix. Take a listen here -
